Brooklyn Street Portraits

During my exchange at SVA in New York, I spent a lot of time roaming the streets of my neighborhood in Brooklyn. It can be quite alienating being a stranger among strangers in a foreign and fast-paced city like NY. Approaching people I met on the streets and asking to take their photograph was an experience that really stood out to me during my time there. The camera became my tool for making human connections.
